A little haul from Fortune Cookie Soap! I got the ‘Sun in the Fun’ mini collection, plus a sample. The lip blame is on the meh side, but everything else smells fruity and awesome!
Check out my bags. Also school/the wedding being over means I can do interesting things to my hair for the rest of the summer.
More hair spam!
I was in a wedding last weekend, for which the bride requested that I have normal colored hair…well now that’s over, and so is school for the year, so now I get to have fun colored hair for a month or two! I had some Manic Panic Atomic Turquoise laying around that I figured would look good with the brown.
June Empties! I repurchased jojoba oil and the coffee sugar scrub from Fortune Cookie Soap, and I attempted to repurchase Not Your Mother’s Dry Shampoo, but I couldn’t find it anywhere!
So I’m a little bit of a hoarder, which means it sometimes takes me a while to use my LE Lush products! Here are some late reviews, just in case some of these products come back next year.
Star Light Star Bright Bath Melt
I think this is the first product from Lush that I’ve actually hated. Sure, it smelled yummy (like limes), but that was it. The glitter covering this melt is not as fine as the glitter on say Sunnyside, and it left a huge mess in my bathtub and on my skin. There was just a layer of gray grime all around the tub, and I could see it happening as I was in the bath. Despite the turquoise inside, the glitter didn’t swirl all pretty, it was just a gritty, grimy, gray mess. I couldn’t even shower it off! It took days for all the glitter to go away.
Bunny Bubble Bar
This little guy on the other hand, I loved. This bar was super soft, and didn’t create a whole lot of bubbles, but the water was extremely soft and moisturizing. It also turned pink! There were some bits of I think lavender hidden in the bar, but I crumble my bubble bars in a little bag and run that under the water, so those didn’t end up floating around with me. The bunny also has a sweet, fruity candy smell that I love, and which was surprisingly strong! Would definitely purchase this guy again.
Sympathy for the Skin Lotion - $26.95/8.4 oz.
Okay, here’s a non-LE product to round this post out. I got a sample of this lotion in my last order. It smells like banana cream pie, which is cool, but I didn’t think it was spectacular other than that, it’s just another lotion. Not worth the high cost in my opinion.
These polka dot nails were really hard to take a decent picture of, but they came out really cute so I tried. The dots are actually rose gold.
Fortune Cookie Soap Haul! Every time I order from them my order gets bigger and bigger. I even got two samples!
