<p>The palette is from Wet N’ Wild’s holiday collection, usually I’m not big on glitters but I just love all the golds. I didn’t realize it at the time, but these are also all cream shadows. I’ve never worked with cream shadows before, so I’m looking forward to trying them out!

September Empties! Not much to report here. I’m still working my way through my piles and piles of samples. I would definitely repurchase Catastrophe Cosmetic, and would not repurchase the new Mask of Magnaminty.

Space Girl Bath Bomb - $5.25

I was nervous about the glitter after my experience with the star shaped bath melt (can’t remember the name off the top of my head), but I was really feeling this sweet, fruity candy scent. Fortunately it turned out not to be an issue at all, the glitter all sunk to the bottom of the tub, which made the bath water less interesting, but I didn’t have glitter stuck all over me. This bomb turned the water sort of a dark rosy color, and honestly it was a bit boring considering how exciting you would expect it to be looking at the bomb. Looking at the description on the site it looks like it’s supposed to have poppers like Fizzbanger or Cinders, but I must have gotten a dud. I do like this scent, but I will probably just stick with the Comforter bubble bar instead of buying this bomb again.

Self Preserving Mask of Magnaminty

Before the formula change this mask was one of my absolute favorite LUSH products, however after getting a sample of the new formulation I probably won’t be buying it again. I like my clay masks to suck the grime out of my pores, and this new, mostly honey formula just doesn’t do that. It’s like it’s now for dry skin instead of oily skin. I’ll be sticking with Queen Helene’s Mint Julep Masque instead (which is way cheaper anyway).

Finally used up my fall coupon code from Fortune Cookie Soap! Had to restock my HG scrub, Rise &amp; Grind (mmmm coffeeeee), and I wanted to sniff the rest of the 4 pumpkin scents, so I got a wax tart sampler pack with the 3 scents I didn&#8217;t get. They all small wonderful, and very fall!

Whoops drug store haul. I haven&#8217;t bought chapstick in soooo long, okay? And I heard that the Blistex Ultra-Rich Hydration is a possible Fresh Sugar dupe.
I&#8217;m anxious for Mac&#8217;s RHPS collection to come out, but I have 0 patience so I got Wet N Wild lipsticks in Cherry Picking and Cherry Bomb. Cherry Bomb (the darker of the two) is a dupe for Mac&#8217;s Sin, which will be a part of the RHPS collection that comes out next month.

Fizzy O’Therapy Bath Bomb (discontinued)

I got this bath bomb from the Retro line before it was discontinued. This is a spicy smelling bomb that supposedly relives sore muscles. I love Cinders and I was hoping this would be a good off-season replacement. Not as good as Cinders, but still not bad. Not sure whether or not I would purchase again (although now that decision has been made for me!).

Catastophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask - $6.95

I got this mask for returning 5 black pots. I wasn’t sure which mask to get, and this one seemed like the most “general” as far as skin care needs. The first time I used it I ended up with a weird chalky residue on my face, but haven’t had that problem since then. This mask leaves my face feeling smooth and somewhat moisturized without feeling oily. It doesn’t make my skin freak out which is always a concern, and it does seem to calm down blemishes a little bit. I wouldn’t call it a life saver, but I would get it again.

Mudflats Soap - $6.95/3.5 oz.

This soap is part mask and part soap, and is supposed to help with body acne, which I sometimes get on my back, chest, and upper arms. For the first week or so I thought it was working, but after using the whole bar I don’t think it made any difference at all. Would not repurchase.

Redyed my hairs and got all fancied up for date night last Friday. I was surprised that this color faded as much as it did, it pretty much turned brown. It also looks more black this time around.

Lush haullllll! I finished off my pot of Herbalism earlier this week, and that made for 5 black pots to return. I had a hard time deciding which fresh face mask to get, so hopefully Catasrophe Cosmetic works out. I&#8217;ve been trying to go easy on the wallet/deplete the stash so I only got a couple bath treats, the two bombs being the last two I haven&#8217;t tried that I want to try (except for maybe butterball, always forget about that one). They also had small chucks of soap cut up for once instead of big ones, so I decided to get a little piece since I&#8217;m actually starting to get low (didn&#8217;t have to buy soap at all last year). I had no idea that they are changing some of the formulas to &#8220;self preserving,&#8221; so the saleslady made sure to give me a sample (she noticed that most of the pots I brought back were Mask of Magnaminty). This concludes the post where every sentence includes parenthesis!
