Wooo I finally got my Geek Chic Cosmetics order! The Win or Die collection, inspired by Game of Thrones was half off so I ordered the entire collection! After swatching all the shadows…I’m glad I didn’t pay full price. Some of them are amaaaaazing (looking at you, The Pointy End), but some kind of miss the mark (the 2 mattes aren’t great, and Brotherhood of the Crows, while very pretty, has tons of fallout). I also ordered two samples, both of which are awesome, and got one bonus freebie!
I’m thinking I might buy some pans to try and press these into a palette, they might get more use that way.

Oh hey, have I mentioned I’m at a year and a half post-pixie? LOOK HOW MUCH MY HAIR HAS GROWN! I think it’s time to get my layers redone, and one the bleached-ness grows out of my bangs I’m thinking ombré! Sure the trend is getting stale at this point, but I still want to give it a go.

A little over a month ago I received a box full of goodies to try out, compliments of Influenster. Here’s what I thought of these products:
Vasaline Spray & Go Moisturizer Total Moisture
This is sort of a nifty product since it’s a spray on lotion. It’s a very lightweight lotion, and dries very quickly. If you need a lot of moisturizing power this may not do it for you, but it’s good for days when you just need something light or are in a hurry.
Nectresse Artificial Sweetener
Generally I’m anti-artificial sweetener, but this actually tastes decent. One packet end up being perfect for a cup of tea, so I will end up using them, but probably won’t repurchase.
Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Oil Controlling Towelettes
These are pretty cool, like a Wet Nap for the face. They’re perfect for travel, and nice to freshen up on days when you aren’t wearing make up. They are a bit heavy duty for everyday use as a toner though.
Colgate Optic White Regimen
I haven’t tried the toothpaste yet as I’m trying to finish up my current tube before opening a new one. The toothbrush is decent, but the bristles are a bit on the soft side for my tastes. The scrubby bit on the back of the head is cool though, great for exfoliating lips. The mouthwash tasted HORRENDOUS, the first time I tried it I immediately spit it back out. It ended up being great for soaking my Invisalign trays though.
belVita Breakfast Biscuits
I wish I’d gotten more of these! They are tasty, and surprisingly filling. I ate them the morning of a big test, and my tummy was grumbling halfway through like it normally would be. They are a bit crumbly so that can make them sort of messy, but overall I was very satisfied. Would go great with a glass of milk or cup of tea!
